Voters can still cast an absentee ballot on the bond referendum proposal for Pine River-Backus Schools. Voters living in precincts that vote by mail in statewide elections will not receive a ballot by mail for this election.

The referendum on facility additions and improvements for Pine River-Backus Schools will be held from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, at Pine River City Hall.

Absentee ballots are available by mail or in person. To apply and vote by absentee ballot in person, visit Pine River City Hall from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday; 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 11; and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, May 13.
