The Cass County Sheriff's Office is assisting on a missing person investigation.
David Rickbeil, 60, of Ham Lake, was reported missing. His vehicle was located abandoned in Cass County on the Lake Washburn Road, also known as Cass County Road 48, in rural Remer.
Cass County Sheriff Tom Burch said deputies found the vehicle July 12, but didn't learn the man was missing until Thursday, Aug. 2. Cass County is now assisting the Anoka County Sheriff's Office with the case.
The Cass County Sheriff's Office requests assistance from the public with any information related to the whereabouts of Rickbeil. Anyone with information is asked to contact the sheriff's office at 218-547-1424 or 800-450-2677 or to contact a local law enforcement agency.
