Harrison School students recently got the chance to get down and dirty at a local farm, thanks to a Minnesota Agriculture In The Classroom grant.
The grant provided transportation for kindergarteners to visit B&C Dairy Farms in Fort Ripley, where they learned about dairy cows, calves, sheep, swine, goats, chickens, rabbits and farming.
The school also received agricultural books, some of which are books on tape featuring a farmer reading the books, and are available in their classrooms.
