Heating assistance available in Cass, Beltrami

Funding is still available for households in Beltrami and Cass counties for help with heating and electric bills.

Those who have not already applied this heating season and who meet the income guidelines may be eligible. Deadline to submit applications is May 31.

Assistance amounts are determined by the number of people who live in the home, the type of heat used, the cost of heating the previous year and the gross income the household received the three months prior to the date the application is signed.
