An aerial search with a helicopter Friday morning turned up no new clues into the search for a missing Brainerd man.
Marc Charles Welzant, 47, was last seen Sunday in Kiwanis Park at the intersection of East River Road and East College Drive in Brainerd.
The Minnesota State Patrol flew a helicopter over the ground surrounding the group home, Kiwanis Park and river, after a ground search of the same area turned up no clues the day before.
There have been no new tips, said Brainerd Police Chief Corky McQuiston, but it's still an active investigation.
"We're not backing off," he said. "We hope something comes in."

Welzant is described as a white male, about 5 feet, 2 inches tall with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing dark sweat pants, a dark green jacket and tennis shoes. Welzant weighs anywhere from 160 to 200 pounds and has a pear-shaped body appearance.
Police continue to request all residents to thoroughly check their own property and structures for Welzant. Family members and police are concerned because of Welzant's disability as he may not recognize getting cold and changing body temperatures and could be at risk for exposure.
Anyone with information regarding Welzant is asked to call the Brainerd Police Department at 829-2805.
