LITTLE FALLS-The Charles A. Weyerhaeuser Memorial Museum is hosting an event titled: "Hidden Treasures: Dig into the Past" at 6:30 p.m. April 11, where St. Cloud State University Archivist and Professor Tom Steman will share the Hidden Treasures of St. Cloud State University's archives.

Steman will discuss "Hidden Treasures" such as looking at what central Minnesota football legend and Little Falls educator, Louis Filippi, looked like while a student at St. Cloud State in the early 1940s. Participants could find out what their relatives were up to during their extracurricular time at the college or see family history connections with the college. Packed with genealogy and local history materials, the archives holds more than six million documents, many available online due to the tireless work of Steman and an army of energetic students learning the archival trade. Dedicated to documenting the people, property, policy and programs of the University, the archives seeks to make information available for public and institutional use.

The event is free and open to the public. For more information, call 320-632-4007.
