AITKIN-Motorists who travel Highway 169 through Aitkin will encounter a detour and delays after the road is closed between First Street Southeast and First Street Northeast Monday, July 30, through Thursday, Aug. 2.
Motorists may follow the signed detour along Highway 47 and County Road 12, or seek their own alternate routes.
The closure is needed while crews repair a railroad crossing and replace curb and sidewalk.
