PIERZ -- Two Osakis residents were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries after a crash at 9:38 a.m., Friday, Sept. 20, on the intersection of Centennial Drive and Highway 27 in Pierz.
According to a Minnesota State Patrol report, a 2003 Chevy Impala operated by MacKenzie John Hasert, 22, and passenger Christian John Moore, 19, both of Pierz, was traveling southbound on Centennial Drive and stopped at the intersection. As it started across, it collided with a 2011 Buick Lacrosse operated by Paul David Johnson, 80, and passenger Patricia Mary Johnson, 79.
Both Johnsons were transported to St. Gabriel’s Hospital in Little Falls for non-life threatening injuries by Mayo Ambulance. Hasert and Moore were unharmed by the crash. Morrison County deputies assisted at the scene.
