BAXTER - Motorists near the Highway 371/210 intersection in Baxter may experience congestion and delays as crews begin a project to improve the intersection Monday.
Those traveling through the intersection will encounter lane closures and flaggers during non-rush hours from sunup to sundown Mondays through Saturdays. Lane shifts will be in place around the clock throughout much of the project.
Motorists should allow extra time for travel and plan alternate routes while crews complete their work.
When complete by June 12, the project will improve traffic flow by adding additional left-turn lanes to both directions of 210 and extending the left-turn and right-turn lanes on northbound Highway 371.
Questions on the project should be directed to Matt Indihar at matthew.indihar@state.mn.us or 218-828-5737.
