A 61-year-old Walker man suffered injuries in a two-vehicle crash Friday, Dec. 13, on Highway 371 north of Hackensack.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported Gary Allen Tufts was driving a pickup truck southbound on Highway 371 and turned eastbound to enter 62nd Street Northwest in Shingobee Township. Tufts turned in front of a northbound pickup truck driven by Keith Eugene Anderson, 37, Hackensack. The vehicles collided, causing non-life-threatening injuries to Tufts.
Tufts was transported to Sanford Bemidji Medical Center by North Memorial Ambulance before he was airlifted to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo. Peterson was not injured. Both men wore seat belts, and roads were covered in ice and snow at the time of the crash reported 10:47 a.m., according to the state patrol.
Also assisting at the scene were the Cass County Sheriff’s Office and the Walker Fire Department.
