The Crow Wing County Highway Department along with its contractors, Anderson Brothers and Road Reclaimers, received an award for work on a 2016 project.
A grading and base award from the state of Minnesota and the Association of General Contractors recognized the reclamation project on county highways 9 and 44.
The project was recognized for the aggregate raft construction at centerline culverts, geogrid placement over swamps, bridge deck rehabilitation, 6 miles of full-depth bituminous reclamation and aggregate base and 7 miles of warm-mix asphalt bituminous surfacing.
