With the race starting and ending at Central Lakes College, participants make their way along a route around Kiwanis Park and Boom Lake Saturday, Dec. 8, during the Homeless Heroes 5k and One-mile Dedication run/walk.
Proceeds for the race benefit Homeless and Wounded Warriors MN.

Growing up in the Brainerd lakes area I realized that I never wanted to leave, so it is a true blessing that I was able to find a job at the Dispatch doing something I love.
