PIERZ — Horizon Health Inc. in Pierz, a provider of person-centered care for any age in Morrison County and the city of Brainerd, was recently awarded funds to provide a new transportation program for those with disabilities and chronic conditions.
Grant funds were awarded by the National Aging and Disability Transportation Center and will be administered by Faith in Action, a division of Horizon Health, a news release stated.
Like the current Faith in Action transportation program for individuals ages 60 and older, the transportation center funds will provide transportation to another important group of people in the community.
