Lakes area families are being sought to host foreign exchange students for the 2021-22 school year.
Ayusa, a nonprofit organization that promotes global learning and leadership through cultural exchange and leadership programs for high school students from around the 60 countries around the world, is looking for families who would be interested in the program. Ayusa foreign exchange students are fully insured, bring their own spending money and are proficient in English.
Dan Miesle, the local Ayusa community representative, supports students, family and school throughout the year. He will be at the Westgate Mall from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 17, and Saturday, May 1, for those who would like to learn more about prospective students or hosting.
