In celebration of its 50 year history, the Brainerd HRA is hosting an open house during Brainerd History Week 5-7 pm. Wednesday at the Downtown SEH Building. All are invited to attend.
On the 50th anniversary of the Brainerd Housing and Redevelopment Authority, the Brainerd City Council honored the HRA by resolution at its June 6 city council meeting saluting "the diligence, hard work and perseverance of the dozens of citizens who have volunteered to serve
on the HRA Board of Directors; we honor the staff who over these 50 years has kept foremost in mind the needs of their customers; we acknowledge the community's commitment that we take care of those in need."
