BURLEY, Idaho-A 21-year old Baxter woman is dead and two other Minnesotans injured after a head-on crash Monday night in Idaho.
According to Idaho State Police, Monica Buchite died at the scene of the crash after the westbound 2008 Chevy Silverado Crew pickup she was riding in collided with a 2011 Toyota Tacoma pickup traveling the wrong way in the westbound lane of Interstate 84. The crash occurred at 8:56 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, at milepost 199.6 west of Burley, Idaho.
The driver of the Toyota Tacoma, 39-year-old Jennifer Thompson of Hagerman, Idaho, also died at the scene.
Ryan Cordie, a 21-year-old from Aitkin, was driving the Chevy Silverado. He and his other passenger, 44-year-old Karrie Cordie of McGrath, were transported to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise by air ambulance.
All occupants wore seat belts.

The westbound lanes of the highway were blocked off for about four hours.
Idaho State Police was assisted by the Gooding County Sheriff's Office, the Idaho Transportation Department, and the Minidoka County Sheriff's Office.
