BACKUS — A 56-year-old Backus man was arrested Monday, April 26, following an ongoing investigation when agents located 62 grams of methamphetamine.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office reported investigators and deputies conducted a search warrant at a Backus residence involving the sale and use of controlled substances, specifically methamphetamine.
During the search of the residence, 62 grams of suspected methamphetamine was located and seized along with other drug paraphernalia and U.S. currency.
The Backus man was arrested and is awaiting formal charges to be filed with the Cass County Attorney’s Office.
