Community leaders from Crosby are invited to communicate priorities for the city at a listening session Nov. 10 with Iron Range Resources and Rehabilitation Board Assistant Commissioner Joe Radinovich.
The listening session, from 7 to 8 a.m. at Heartwood Senior Living Community, 500 Heartwood Drive in Crosby, is aimed at gathering input from community leaders on business, community, and workforce development needs in the Crosby area, a release from the IRRRB said. The IRRRB is a Minnesota economic development agency headquartered in Eveleth.
The agency is establishing a strategic plan designed to support business development, invest in vibrant communities, grow the workforce of tomorrow, and advance value-added mineral opportunities, the release said.
Mayors, city councilors, economic and community development, education, chamber of commerce and other community leaders are invited to the sessions.
Radinovich will outline the IRRRB's strategic focus, address future agency investments, and discuss project leverage, the release said. Over the next few months, listening sessions will be scheduled in communities across the IRRRB service area.
