LOS ANGELES (Variety.com) - Disgraced Subway pitchman Jared Fogle was sentenced on Thursday to 15 years in prison for charges related to sex with minors and child pornography.
U.S. District Judge Tanya Walton Pratt sentenced Fogle to 188 months in prison after he accepted a plea deal.
"Not a day will go by where I don't think about them (victims) and what I did to impact their lives," Fogle said in court. "It is my intent to learn from these experiences so that I never, ever do these things again."
After an FBI raid on his home in July, Fogle plead guilty in August to charges related to sex with minors and child pornography.
He was charged for traveling "in interstate commerce in order to engage in unlawful sexual acts with minors, and (attempting) to do so" as well as "distributing and receiving visual depictions of minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct, and conspiring with others to do so."
