Pequot Lakes speech coach Angie Klein was named Subsection No. 23 Speech Coach of the Year.
The award is given annually, and the winner is selected by the subsection speech coaches. This is Klein's 3rd Sub Section Coach of the Year Award in six years as the head speech coach at Pequot Lakes High School.
"Coach Klein has done an outstanding job with our speech program growing it both competitively and with increased participation,” stated Activities Director Marc Helmrichs in a news release.
