The seventh annual Lakes and Farm Harvest Dinner will be Aug. 27 at Sunup Ranch.
The event is "bringing together the diversity of our region in the interest of stewardship and friendship," a news release stated.
The "celebration of community and bounty" is set to open at 5 p.m., when the farmers market opens and the social hour with a cash bar begins.
At 6 p.m., the "come and get it" dinner will be served. The chuckwagon-style meal will be beef ribeye, pastured chicken from Island Lake Farm and local produce from Grandpa G's. It will be prepared by Chef Mike Sams from Y4 Ranch and Kim Gibbs from KC's Saloon.
The event will also feature a silent auction; horse-drawn wagon rides; local beer and wine tasting from Roundhouse Brewery, Gull Dam Brewing and Cash Wise Liquor; and the music of Hans Blix and the Weapons Inspectors.
