Area communities will host children's Easter egg hunts on Saturday.
Brainerd
The Brainerd Parks and Recreation Easter Egg Hunt is taking place March 26 this year.
The hunt will be held in Lum Park, Brainerd, and start at 10 a.m. sharp. It would be wise to arrive early in order to get a parking spot and get a picture with the Easter Bunny.
The Brainerd Parks and Recreation office asks families to provide Easter baskets or bags, however if they do not have one for each child, a limited supply of plastic bags will be available. "We added an age group this year, so now we are catering toward four age groups: 2-3, 4-5, 6-7, and 8-9 year olds," parks and recreation reported. "At the end of the event children will turn in the eggs for an 'Easter Goodie Bag.'"
