The Lakes Area Growers Market, the local farmers' market in Brainerd and Baxter, is opening for the season on Friday, May 12, in the parking lot at Viking Land Harley Davidson, 7915 Highway 210, Baxter.
The former location in Baxter, in front of Gander Mountain, needed to be changed with the construction planned in the parking lot for a new retail development.
The market is open from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. And will be at the Viking Land site every Friday through the growing season.
On Tuesdays, the Lakes Area Growers Market, will still be at the Franklin Arts Center parking lot from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
