LAKEVILLE - A Burnsville man died Sunday after a workplace accident at the Genpak manufacturing plant.
Mitchell Robert Hauschlidt, 28, died of injuries caused by an industrial roller at the plant, according to the Hennepin County medical examiner’s office. He was injured about 7:45 a.m. Sunday and died shortly before 2:30 p.m. at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale.
Hauschlidt’s death was determined to be an accident. Lakeville police and the state Occupational Safety and Health Administration are investigating.
Genpak is a maker of disposable food packaging and catering supplies.
