The League of Women Voters of the Brainerd lakes area will present a program on the development of the Mississippi River Revitalization project at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 9, at the Fireplace Room at First Presbyterian Church, 512 S 8th St., Brainerd.
The speaker will be Mark Ostgarden, city planner.
The program is open to the public.
In 2013 the Brainerd City Council completed a strategic planning process and a Mississippi River walk is one of four strategic focus areas. The vision plan is for an area from the Mill Avenue bridge to the Highway 371 bridge.
