Two dozen students graduated Friday, July 6, from Central Lakes College's law enforcement skills program.
The program allows students to get an insider's look into the career of law enforcement. CLC students get in the driver's seat of new squad cars, which come with the same software officers use on the streets today.
CLC's is the only program in the state offering that experience, a news release stated. In this eight-week program, students are trained in firearms, defense tactics, using a Taser, chemical aerosol, radar and using Lidar.
