A Level 3 predatory offender is relocating from Brainerd to a residence in rural Crosby, the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office reported
Joshua Matthew McMillen, 32, was released Nov. 5, 2019, and he moved to a residence in Brainerd and is on supervised probation. He is expected to move Saturday, March 28, to a residence on the 30000 block of State Highway 6 in Perry Lake Township in rural Crosby.
McMillen has a criminal history to include sexual contact with a known teenage girl. The contact was sexual touching and penetration.
In a news release, Crow Wing County Sheriff Scott Goddard stated he wants to keep the public informed as to the known locations of predatory offenders, but also reminded the public he cannot control where they choose to reside. There will not be a public hearing due to current guidelines regarding social distancing and attendance in groups.
“My highest priority is public safety and I want you to know that all predatory offenders in Crow Wing County are closely monitored by my office for compliance,” Goddard stated in the release. “As always, we ask that the public report any suspicious activity immediately so we can investigate. This notification is designed to make our citizens aware of the general location of Joshua McMillen’s whereabouts.”
