LITTLE FALLS-St. Francis Music Center in Little Falls has openings in the summer gymnastics classes for ages 4 and up.
Gymnastics classes meet Wednesday night for eight weeks during June and July. Beginning classes meet at 5 p.m., intermediate at 6 p.m. and advanced at 7 p.m. Students are taught on the beam, vault, swing bar and floor exercises. Class sizes are small so students have lots of one-on-one support and the full attention of the coach, a news release stated.
Teri Mick, longtime gymnastics coach at the music center, hails from Willmar, where she competed for six years in the Midwest Amateur Gymnastics Association. Mick has taught all age groups from 18 months through middle school and has served as head gymnastics coach at Little Falls Middle School.
