The 2016 Little Miss and Pre Teen Minnesota United States Pageant was held over the weekend at Breezy Point Resort. The weekend pageant, which took on the resort theme, "Come Sail Away," had contestants competing in Formal Wear, Casual Wear and On Stage Introduction, along with Optional, Resort Wear, Photogenic, People's Choice and Prettiest Hair, Eyes and Smile.
Five local Brainerd/Baxter ladies captured five of the six state titles at the pageant. Both Kylie Christenson and Gabriella Miller will go on to represent Minnesota this summer at the Little Miss and Pre Teen United States Pageant to be held in Las Vegas the first week of August.
