The County Board approved the use of $1,930,000 of American Rescue Plan Act funds toward a number of capital improvement projects already planned for this year during its Tuesday, Jan. 25, meeting.
The Crosslake Chamber of Commerce will host the Crosslake WinterFest from Feb. 3-5, including the SoupFest, fireworks display and outdoor activities such as snowmobile Radar Runs.
Of the 12.5 miles to be added to the system, half will be newly constructed trails, while the other half will use existing undesignated and unmanaged forest trails already open to ATV use.
