Brainerd firefighters respond to 2 non-storm-related calls

BRAINERD — The Brainerd Fire Department responded to the Holiday Inn Express at 3:40 p.m. Monday, June 20, at 15739 Audubon Way.

Fire crews were canceled en route after it was learned the call was due to a child pulling the alarm.

Crews were also called at 1:26 a.m. to Johnson Centre, 14275 Golf Course Drive, for a fire alarm. Crews were canceled en route by the alarm company.
