BRAINERD — The Brainerd Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire at 7:56 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, at Woida Road and Highway 371.
Upon arrival, crews found the fire was out.
Crews were also called Saturday at 5:02 p.m. to Good Samaritan Society-Woodland, 100 Buffalo Hills Lane, for a fire alarm. Upon investigation, it was determined the alarm was caused by a maintenance matter.

Brainerd Fire Chief Tim Holmes said a passerby noticed smoke coming from the roof area and reported the fire.
