Crow Wing County to improve highway 16, 39 intersection

BRAINERD — Crow Wing County has entered into a contract with Anderson Brothers Construction for the reconstruction of the intersection of county highways 16 and 39 by regrading the intersection to accommodate left turn lanes and a new bituminous surface.

Construction will start Monday, Aug. 29, and run through Sept. 16. This schedule is subject to variability based on weather and other factors.

During construction, the road will remain open to traffic. For the safety of the workers and motorists, there will be lane closures and the potential for significant delays. Use alternate routes if possible.
