Smiles for Jake is excited to announce our inaugural Smiles on the ‘Sippi will take place on July 30.
Smiles on the ‘Sippi was inspired when a group of outdoor enthusiasts with a passion for mental health wellness came together to form this community event. Smiles for Jake in partnership with Cuyuna Regional Medical Center, Brainerd Family YMCA, Mississippi Headwaters Board, Crow Wing County Historical Society and CTC have put all of the wheels in motion for this annual event.
The event will be at Rotary and Kiwanis Park in Brainerd. This will be an outdoor morning of fun for the entire family and is free to the public to attend. A shuttle service will be provided frequently for traveling between Kiwanis or Rotary Park every 15 minutes.
Join us for magicians, face painting, rock painting, and a special visit from Mickey Mouse! Entertainment provided by country artists, Girls Night Out. A historical tour will be provided by Crow Wing Historical Society to teach about life on the Mississippi in early Brainerd. Mental health professionals will be onsite to answer questions and provide resources. Bring your whole family – there will be something for everyone to enjoy!
