HOPE Forum set for March 30

BRAINERD — A HOPE Forum: Addressing the Overdose Crisis in Greater Minnesota is planned for March 30 at Northland Arboretum, 14250 Conservation Drive, Brainerd.

Coffee and networking starts at 8:30 a.m. with the first session at 9 a.m.

Join the Steve Rummler HOPE Network and local partners for this free event dedicated to community-based solutions to the overdose crisis.

Here's what to expect:

  • An overdose response training, where attendees can receive a naloxone kit,
  • Educational sessions,
  • A community resource fair,
  • Lunch and networking.

Continuing education units are available (up to four) for the following credentials:

  • Peer recovery specialists,
  • Alcohol and drug counselors,
  • Advanced alcohol and drug counselors,
  • Clinical supervisors,
  • Prevention professionals,
  • Nurses.
