The Captain Robert Orr Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution would like to give a large thank you to the Brainerd VFW for their generous donation toward flowers for the All Veterans Memorial and cleaning supplies for cleaning veterans tombstones in the Brainerd area.
Over the last three years, members have cleaned more than 600 tombstones at the Garrison Cemetery and Pine Tree Cemetery. The local chapter received a nice donation from the Garrison VFW last winter. This summer volunteers will clean veteran headstones at Evergreen Cemetery in Brainerd.
