Neumann wins Legion oratorical contests

The purpose of the contest is to develop a deeper knowledge and appreciation of the U.S. Constitution.

BRAINERD — Myra Neumann, a senior at the Brainerd High School, recently won the local American Legion Post No. 255 oratorical contest in Brainerd and the Legion’s 6th District contest at the Legion in Little Falls.

She also participated at the state department contest in Anoka.

The purpose of the contest is to develop a deeper knowledge and appreciation of the U.S. Constitution.
