"... Vacuuming nude" - Police cite man for indecent exposure at Baxter business

BAXTER — A 55-year-old Brainerd man was cited for indecent exposure following an incident Sunday, Sept. 25, at UpNorth indoor bounce house.

The incident was reported as an “adult male vacuuming nude” to the Baxter Police Department at 10:23 p.m. the same day.

The incident gained attention from a Sunday viral social media post . The Facebook post had over 800 comments and shares as of Friday afternoon.

An unedited video posted to TikTok shows a man seen through the glass front doors of the business not wearing any clothes and vacuuming as the videographer walks by the entrance.

According to the Baxter Police Department, the man was cited Monday for misdemeanor indecent exposure. The fine for a misdemeanor indecent exposure is up to 90 days in jail, up to a $1,000 fine, or both.

As of Thursday night, the UpNorth indoor bounce house has remained closed with a handwritten sign on the door.

Multiple attempts were made to contact the poster of the social media post and the owner of UpNorth indoor bounce house for comment. Neither returned a request for comment as of Friday afternoon.
