CUSHING — A 20-year-old woman and her 21-year-old passenger suffered injuries early Saturday, Jan. 8, from a rollover crash after the driver fell asleep.
The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office received a report at 3:44 a.m. of a one-vehicle crash on Highway 10 near 270th Street, about 1 mile north of Cushing in Cushing Township.
According to the sheriff’s office Madalynn Frenzel, 20, of Bemidji, was traveling west on Highway 10 when she fell asleep and drove the vehicle off the road. The vehicle hit a snowbank and rolled in the median.
Frenzel and passenger Toni Kimble, 21, of Bemidji, were transported to CHI-St. Gabriel’s Hospital in Little Falls by Mayo Clinic Ambulance with unknown injuries.
The sheriff’s office was also assisted by the Scandia Valley Fire Department and Randall Fire and Rescue.
