A cancer benefit will be held for Lori Renowski from 5 p.m.-midnight Saturday at the American Legion in Brainerd.
Renowski was diagnosed with stage four breast cancer on April 17, 2013, and it has spread to her bones, which is considered incurable. Renowski has had her ovaries removed, had a double mastectomy, has gone through five rounds of chemotherapy, and started a monthly bone treatment.
Renowski, her husband and two kids live in the Baxter area. The money raised will go to medical bills and daily expenses.
The benefit will have a sloppy joe meal, raffles, bake sale, silent auction and music. Tickets are $7 presale and $10 at the door. Raffle tickets are $5 for a chance to win Minnesota Twins tickets, Lakes Jam tickets or a Grandview Lodge golf package.
