ST. PAUL - Rep. Dale Lueck, R-Aitkin, recently attended his first official meeting of the Iron Range Resources Rehabilitation Board. Lueck is the newest appointee to the nine-member IRRRB Board which consists of Iron Range legislators from the Minnesota House of Representatives and Senate with responsibility to oversee this important state agency.

The IRRRB's mission is to promote and invest in business, community and workforce development for northeastern Minnesota. Its service area encompasses 13,000 square miles, encompassing 49 cities, 129 townships and 15 school districts.

"This is a very important agency to District 10B and our part of the state as we take on challenges regarding economic development," Lueck said. "I look forward to working closely with the eight other board members, as well as newly appointed IRRRB Commissioner Mark Phillips and Assistant IRRRB Commissioner Joe Radinovich."

Lueck said he welcomes input from local citizens regarding ideas to make northeastern Minnesota an even better place to live, work, raise a family and get an education. He can be reached at the Capitol by calling 651-296-2365 or by emailing rep.dale.lueck@house.mn .
