LWVBLA to meet Thursday

The League of Women Voters of the Brainerd Lakes Area's monthly membership program will be Thursday at the Brainerd Public Library. Social hour is at 5:30 p.m. with the program beginning at 6 p.m.

The League of Women Voters of the Brainerd Lakes Area's monthly membership program will be Thursday at the Brainerd Public Library. Social hour is at 5:30 p.m. with the program beginning at 6 p.m.

Crow Wing County Assistant Attorney Janine Lepage will speak about child protection.

The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization with a 90-year history educating Minnesota's voters. It encourages informed and active participation in government and influences public policy through education and advocacy. Membership in the league is open to men and women of all ages.
