PINE RIVER - A Pine River man was injured when the motorcycle he was driving lost control and collided with a mailbox at 9:57 p.m. Tuesday, one mile west of Pine River on Cass County Road 2 in Walden Township, Cass County Sheriff Tom Burch reported.
The driver, Marc Nelson, 47, was airlifted to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale. Assisting the sheriff's office on scene were Pine River Police Department, Pine River Fire and Rescue and North Memorial Ambulance. The Minnesota State Patrol is assisting with the investigation.
