IDEAL TOWNSHIP-A 31-year-old Orono man died Saturday, July 14, after a tree he was cutting down fell on him at a property near Kimble Shores Drive in Ideal Township.
The Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office received a call at 1:27 p.m. to a report of an injury from a fallen tree. Responders arrived and found the man died from the injuries he suffered.
The sheriff's office was assisted by the Pequot Lakes and Breezy Point police departments and the Ideal Fire Department. The name of the man was withheld pending notification of family members.
