MOTLEY - An 81-year-old man was injured when he fell asleep behind the wheel and crashed at 6:30 p.m. Thursday on Highway 10 in Motley, the Minnesota State Patrol reported.
Arlynn L. Anderson of St. Cloud was driving a Chevrolet Silverado northbound on Highway 10, when he fell asleep, crossed into oncoming lanes and crashed into a tree head-on.
Anderson was transported to Lakewood Health System in Staples for non-life-threatening injuries.
The Motley Police Department assisted the state patrol at the scene.
