A Fort Ripley man was injured in a crash early Friday morning when the vehicle he was driving struck a deer near Fort Ripley.

The Morrison County Sheriff's Office reported the office received a report of a one-vehicle crash with injuries at 12:15 a.m. Friday near 253rd Street near Fort Ripley. Michael Gosse, 26, Fort Ripley, was traveling north on Jewel Road when he struck a deer. He lost control of his vehicle, went into the ditch and his vehicle rolled.

Gosse was transported to St. Gabriel's Hospital in Little Falls with unknown injuries. The sheriff's office was assisted by Gold Cross Ambulance.
