BAXTER - A 35 year-old North Mankato man was injured Thursday when he fell off a trailer being pulled by a golf cart at Brainerd International Raceway (BIR), 5523 Birchdale Road, Brainerd, reported the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office.
Matthew James was transported by North Memorial Ambulance to Essentia Health-St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The 38-year-old man, who was driving the golf cart, was arrested for driving while intoxicated (DWI).
The incident was reported at 7:54 p.m.
