A 22-year-old Brainerd man who swerved to miss a deer and lost control went to the hospital Wednesday with injuries.
The Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office reported Morgan Xavier Och, 22, Brainerd, was driving on County Highway 31 in Cuyuna when the crash occurred. After swerving to miss the deer, the vehicle Och was driving went into the ditch.
The driver was transported by ambulance to Cuyuna Regional Medical Center. An update on his condition was unavailable Thursday.
