A 57-year-old man involved in an ATV crash died Sunday, June 21, after life saving efforts were performed at a residence in rural Longville.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office was called at 8:10 p.m. to respond to a report of a medical emergency at a residence in Woodrow Township. Emergency responders arrived and began treating the man. It was learned the man was involved in an all-terrain vehicle crash earlier that night. Deputies arrived and continued the investigation. Life saving efforts were performed, and
the victim was pronounced deceased at the residence, the sheriff’s office reported.
The man’s identity is being withheld pending notification of family members, though the sheriff’s department reported he is an Eden Prairie resident.
A cause of death was not reported. An autopsy is scheduled with the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office.
