LASTRUP - An 88-year-old man was killed when a car he was a passenger in and a milk truck collided at 10:24 a.m. Friday at the intersection of 213th Street and 275th Avenue in Buh Township near Lastrup, the Morrison County Sheriff's Office reported.
The milk truck driver was Joseph Arnzen, 58, Grey Eagle and the passenger car was driven by Alice Stangl, 82, Pierz. Arnzen was not injured.
Stangl's passenger, Raymond Stangl, died on scene and Alice Stangl was transported by ambulance to St. Gabriel's Hospital. She was later transported to St. Cloud Hospital with unknown injuries.
The accident is under investigation by the Morrison County Sheriff's Office and the Minnesota State Patrol. Assisting the sheriff's office and state patrol at the scene was the Pierz First Response, Sullivan First Response, Pierz Fire Department, Gold Cross Ambulance and North Air Care.
